Genus: Arremon (4 species, 20 worldwide)

Genus Arremon are Brushfinch found in the dense understory of tropical American forests. Arremon are consistent in shape and size (around 16 cm.).

A yungas species Split from Saffron-billed Sparrow in 2020. Note eye-brow that reaches to bill, and vocal differences.
