Split from the Undulated Antshrike and virtually impossible to differentiate. The Fulvous is found in the Andean foothills and the Undulated in the Amazon basin. Looks a bit similar to Fasciated Antshrike but male is darker.

An Amazon species. Compare to similar Fulvous Antshrike, a foothill species.
