Genus: Myiobius (3 species, 4 worldwide)

Myiobius is a genus of very similar birds once called Flycatchers that are found in the understory to midstory of healthy forests.

Similar to Tawny-breasted Myiobius, but only found at low altitudes. Small size and tawny color only on chest differentiate from other myiobius.

Visually very similar to Sulphur-rumped Myiobius but rare and only found at higher altitudes (1000-2000m). Ranges don't overlap. Colors less bright (ProAves) and yellow is only on center of belly (tawny flanks) (HBW). Also about two cm. larger.
