Range: AO: Santo Antao, Branco, Raso, San Nicolau, Santiago and Brava (Cape Verde Is.; s Macaronesia, w of nw Africa)
   

Similar to Cory's Shearwater but a bit smaller and slimmer, and with a grey bill and darker head and neck (Ekins). Nests near Europe at Cape Verde islands.
