Most similar to the [Black-faced Antbird], but only found along the large Amazon rivers, and note plain wings with just some white spots. Song is similar to [White-browed Antbird].

Widespread and sometimes common. Note well defined black and white wingbars compared to [Ash-breasted Antbird], when in its range.
