Commonly called Yellow-breasted Flycatcher or Flatbill. Uniformly colored yellow. Note two bright yellow wing bars. Ochre lore difficult to see.

Compare to Yellow-margined Flatbill but found on the Pacific side of the Andes.

Note pale lower mandible. Has wing bars unlike Yellow-margined Flatbill or Zimmer's Flatbill. Most races have a light-colored eye. Note broken eye-ring.
