Speckled Rail (Coturnicops notatus) Rare/Accidental
   


It is not known if this species, normally found in southeast South America, occasionally travels (migrates?) to northern South America (Cornell). For example there is a record from Colombia in 1959. Note dark color with white wingtips creating speckles on front and back.
