Birds of Venezuela

    PASSERIFORMES: Vireonidae (Vireos, Greenlets, Shrike-babblers)  
Genus: Hylophilus (5 species, 8 worldwide)

Genus Hylophilus, Greenlets, are in the Vireo family, but are generally a bit smaller and greener. Greenlets are usually high in the canopy and often with mixed flocks.

Note white eye, and loud repeated notes in song. Vocal and often common in hot dry lowlands.
