An all dark brown cinclodes, found only at the highest altitudes, often above the snow line.

White-bellied Cinclodes (Cinclodes palliatus) Critically Endangered ENDEMIC

The most attractive of all the cinclodes, and also one of the rarest. Found only in very high elevation bogs in central Peru, the total population is thought to be only a few hundred birds (Athanas).
