Large nighthawk mostly seen at dawn and dusk above the canopy chasing insects like a bat (ProAves et al.). Belly and inside of wings rufous.

Similar to the Rufous-bellied Nighthawk, but found at lower altitudes, and inside of wings and belly barred. Also chases insects over the canopy. Sleeps in trees, and nests in trees (Cornell).
